Shared Information Management Services (SIMS) is the information management and technology group that is shared between thirteen health care organizations in the Greater Toronto Area.
SIMS works on integrating projects across the partnership, helping health care workers deliver care that is centred on the patient regardless of where the care is delivered.

Patient Portals are web-based personal health applications that can integrate with an electronic health record to support patients in management of their own health care.
Portals are designed to be secure and easy to use, providing patients with personalized information, care/treatment plans, education, clinical data and links to community programs from the comfort of their own home.
